About Me

Hey, I’m Ale — the voice behind Living in Beta.

At 34, I’ve decided to take a deep dive into self-discovery, self-love, and letting go — because I realized I’ve been living my life trying to keep everything perfectly in place, obsessing over making zero wrong moves.
What that really means? I’ve been terrified of failing.
And the moment I faced that fear, I saw it for what it was: a messy mix of family expectations, social norms, and a bunch of internal stories I never questioned — until now.

This space was born as a personal invitation to try — even when the outcome is uncertain. To slowly drop the weight I’ve been carrying and move forward with less fear and more curiosity.
Not to win or lose, but to learn, choose, and live.

Because every time I postponed a dream or a project, I was also postponing the chance to feel something real. To live.
I no longer want to be the “perfect version” of me.
Now, I choose to stay in beta — forever evolving, experimenting, becoming.

If that speaks to you, welcome. Join me. Nothing would make me happier than knowing there are more of us out here trying to feel lighter and live freer.

P.S. I’m not a writer, and English isn’t my first language — but sharing this anyway is my first step toward ditching the fear of failure.

Thanks for being here 🙂

Ale
